about

Purpose, Vision, and Mission
Our purposes are to proclaim Jesus and to build fellowship. Our vision is to be a diverse community proclaiming Jesus while building fellowship with God and one another in Peoria and beyond. Our mission is to follow Christ and walk with Him as a caring, healing community seeking to mature in faith by:
     1. Glorifying God in song, music, word, and action (worship).
     2. Being reconciled with God and one another through grace, truth, mercy, justice, and love (ministry).
     3. Applying Scripture to life as we read, study, and teach its contents (discipleship).
     4. Celebrating the death and resurrection of Christ together, waiting for his return, encouraging one another in the joys and sorrows of this life (fellowship).
     5. Proclaiming this gospel to our world in Peoria and beyond (evangelism).
We aim to fulfill this mission by encouraging individual intimacy with Christ; nurturing strong families; developing relevant meetings or ministries; connecting and partnering with others pursuing similar goals.

statement of faith

we believe
in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct

one God
eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

our Lord Jesus Christ
God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory

the Salvation
of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit

the Holy Spirit
by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ

the Unity
of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ

the Resurrection
of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
